The link between culture, society and financial literacy is a necessity
The secretary of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy, expressed during the ceremony of appreciation of the best films of the 38th Fajr Film Festival: the capacities and capabilities of the people of culture and art should be used to increase and promote financial literacy in society. Cinema is one of the best arts and capacities for teaching and promoting financial literacy.
Parviz Karami, the secretary of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy, attended the ceremony of appreciation of the best films of the 38th Fajr Film Festival and mentioned that this event was initiated by the Fintelligence affiliated with Part Knowledge-based Company. He mentioned: granting Phi Sign and appreciating the movies selected in Fajr Film Festival were carried out in the section of films with themes and concepts such as financial literacy. These films have been assessed and judged by referees along with the last Farj Film Festival.
According to Karami, this is an innovative initiative to link issues related to financial literacy and culture building. A good and effective event in the development of economic culture and its skills in the country that can help improve the level of financial literacy of the people.
The advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs continued: the main responsibility of governments is policy-making and facilitating these affairs. Over the years of responsibility of the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance, most organizations and institutions participated in this work and were intended to support cinema and use this art industry in conveying concepts and presenting content.
Karami added: along with Fajr Festival, an incentive structure, such as this fair, has been created by Part Co. to appreciate government organizations in the movies of the festival. However, this was mostly done in the presence of the public sector, and the private sector had little role to play.
The president of the information and communications center emphasized: the private sector is the missing link in these events. This sector has a high capacity in increasing the society’s understanding of social responsibilities and financial concepts.
The Need to Teach Financial Literacy to People in the Form of Art
The advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs appreciated the movies selected in the festival and their creators, asserting: four movies have been selected in the fair. These films were examined in terms of the number of concepts covered in the field of financial literacy and how to address these issues, and were introduced as top films.
Karami considered the work done by Part Knowledge-based Co. and Fintelligence as unique work that is worthy of appreciation, adding: although in our literature and culture and ancient texts there are teachings and teachings in this regard that have been promoted by education in society, none of these concepts have become social skills.
The secretary of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy believes that this act with teach the related skills to the community. Currently, people are dealing with financial problems and learning approaches to gain financial literacy in the form of culture and art is of paramount importance.

The referee of “Meydoon Entrepreneurship Competition” pointed out the successful experiencing of producing this program, stating: encouraging entrepreneurship, job creation and wealth creation in society now requires artistic processing by using different art genres, which is more effective and attractive.

Four movies of “Popular by Soheil Beiraghi”, “Ruction Day by Behrouz Shoeibi”, “Silent Snail by Behrang Dezfoulizadeh”, and “Puff, Puff, Pass by Saman Salur” were selected as the best movies of the festival.
The ceremony of appreciation of the top movies of the 38th Fajr Film Festival from the financial literacy perspective was held by Fintelligence. The event was attended by the secretary of soft technologies development headquarter, Rasoulizadeh, the CEO of Part Company, Roudi, the CEO of Fintelligence, Behrouz Shoeibi, Behrang Dezfoulizadeh, Saman Salur, Takht Keshian, Shayesteh and a number of producers and directors of the cinema of Iran and referees.
